Maybe the wrong device is used? Or the whole disk instead of a The device '/dev/sdc' doesn't seem to have a valid NTFS.
When I try to mount this volume, I get the following error: $ sudo mount /dev/sdc ~/Desktop/external/įailed to mount '/dev/sdc': Invalid argument Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes Following this AU post, I first verified the volume is available: $ sudo fdisk -lĭisk /dev/sdc: 1.84 TiB, 2000365289472 bytes, 3906963456 sectors
Now I'd like to transfer that data to a new machine running Ubuntu. As the title says, I formatted, encrypted, and then filled an external hard drive using macOS.
